AUGMENTATIVE AND ALTERNATIVE COMMUNICATION (AAC)
AAC addresses the needs of individuals with significant and complex communication disorders and is a way of providing alternative methods to communicate.
For children who may require an alternative way to express their needs, AAC can be unaided systems (e.g. signing, body language, gesturing) or aided systems (e.g. a tool or device tailored to meet your child’s needs).
